Job DescriptionSenior Alternatives Fund Formation Tax/Legal Structurer\nLocation: New York, New York\nWork Type: Hybrid, 3 days on-site\n\nWe’re partnering with a leading global asset manager seeking a senior professional to lead the structuring and launch of new alternative investment products across private real estate, infrastructure, private credit, and liquid real assets.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Lead the design, structuring, approval, and launch of new alternative investment products.\n Evaluate the legal, tax, regulatory, compliance, and operational implications of new fund structures.\n Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Investments, Product, Sales, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Fund Operations.\n Identify product opportunities, develop business cases, and oversee multiple launches from concept through execution.\n Manage and mentor a small team while remaining hands-on in product development and delivery.\n Coordinate with external legal, tax, and advisory partners as needed.\n\n\nIdeal Background:\n\n Significant legal and/or tax structuring experience within alternatives or asset management.\n Demonstrated experience launching new funds or investment products across alternative asset classes.\n Strong knowledge of private real estate, infrastructure, private credit, and/or liquid real assets.\n Familiarity with structures such as REITs, interval or tender-offer funds, and alternative investment funds.\n Experience advising asset managers through a law firm, Big Four firm, consultancy, or investment platform is highly relevant.\n Strong leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial problem-solving skills.\n
