Job Description

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join a custom applications team and take on additional development and enhancement work across business applications. This person will work primarily with Angular on the front end and Java/Spring Boot on the back end, building and maintaining Oracle-backed microservices and REST APIs. The environment is hosted in AWS and runs on Kubernetes. Day-to-day work will include quickly learning existing implementations, translating assigned requirements into secure and maintainable code, developing and testing application changes, supporting integrations and database interactions, participating in code reviews and troubleshooting, and helping resolve production issues. The developer will collaborate with technical teammates, business analysts, QA, architects, and DevOps partners through the team's established Agile delivery process. This is an individual-contributor role focused on hands-on delivery rather than immediate project ownership; success will depend on strong technical depth, fast ramp-up, and effective execution within an existing distributed team.

Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of hands-on full-stack application development experience.
  • Strong Angular experience building modern, responsive front-end applications.
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot experience developing back-end services and business logic.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs in a microservices-based architecture.
  • Experience working with Oracle databases, relational data models, and SQL-based integrations.
  • Ability to understand the existing implementation quickly and deliver assigned enhancements as a hands-on developer.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience developing or supporting applications hosted in AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes; Docker or broader containerization experience is also valuable.
  • Experience with GitHub-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with automated testing, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise applications, third-party services, or SaaS platforms.
  • ?Experience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare, manufacturing, or finance.
