Cloud Security Architect (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop frameworks that enhance and secure the solution design and development process.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver secure cloud services.
• Design security controls and architectural approaches for cloud-based systems and applications.
• Perform risk analysis and document risks along with mitigating controls.
• Support secure delivery practices across the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 10 years of experience, including experience in three or more of the following: security architecture, threat modeling, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, or network security
• Advanced knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and their security features
• In-depth understanding of cloud security principles and industry frameworks such as CSA, CIS, NIST, or ISO
• Experience with security assessment tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD solutions
• Working knowledge of application security standards such as OWASP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

• CISSP, CISM, Azure Cybersecurity Expert, or an equivalent certification
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
