The business is a well-established Building Services consultancy near Preston. They work on lots of local projects and go up to Cumbria and as far south as Greater Manchester. This opportunity has been presented as one of the team is relocating from the UK to another country. This is a genuinely strong opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys running projects independently and taking schemes from concept through to handover. The role:

No need to do any business development<br />But you will need to run and lead your own projects from cradle to grave<br />Work Client side and be a true consultant designing through Stages 1-4 and overseeing through to handover<br />In a lot of cases being the overall Project Lead ahead of all other disciplines<br />Peer checking where required for others<br />You need to be comfortable working on Small to Very large jobs Projects include: Healthcare estates &amp; hospital infrastructure<br />Defence sector work<br />Up to 11KV infrastructure projectsWhat they're looking for: Strong Electrical Building Services background<br />Comfortable managing own projects independently<br />Experience with Amtech or Electrical OM<br />Degree qualified ideally<br />CEng / MCIBSE beneficial but not essential<br />CAD experience useful but Revit not requiredThe business offers a very grown-up and flexible culture with excellent staff retention, no micromanagement, and a collaborative technical team.
