Role : Cloud Security Engineer / Security Application Developer

Location : Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer, and modern application development technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud security controls, developing security automation solutions, integrating security platforms through APIs, and building web-based dashboards and applications to enhance security visibility and compliance across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Prisma Cloud and Wiz Security controls across enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop, configure, and manage Prisma Cloud security policies, compliance rules, and governance frameworks.
• Support and maintain C9 applications and baseline configurations to ensure security standards and operational compliance.
• Design and process JSON-based data models, configuration files, and API payloads.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Create security automation workflows for cloud monitoring, reporting, and remediation.
• Design and develop user-friendly web applications and dashboards using React.
• Work with MongoDB databases to store, retrieve, and analyze security and operational data.
• Troubleshoot security platform issues, API integrations, and application performance concerns.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and development teams to enhance security posture and automate operational tasks.
• Document architecture, policies, integration workflows, and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, application development, or security engineering.

• Prisma Cloud Policies and Governance
• C9 Applications and Baseline Management
• JSON Data Structures and Processing
• MongoDB

• REST API Development and Integration
• React.js
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience troubleshooting API, application, and security control issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with security automation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (Prisma Cloud, AWS Security, Azure Security, CISSP, CCSP).
