Recruitment Consultant - Merchants

Salary: £27,000 £30,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission
Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm

If you have experience in a Plumbers Merchant, Builders Merchant or similar trade environment, this is your opportunity to turn your industry knowledge into a career in specialist recruitment.

Working closely with our National Account Manager, you ll support recruitment for key clients across the UK. No recruitment experience needed, we ll provide full training, dedicated mentoring and everything you need to succeed.

Whether you re a Trade Counter Assistant, Internal Sales Advisor, Sales Consultant, Designer or similar, if you re great with people, driven and ready for your next challenge, we d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Working closely with our National Account Manager to recruit for key merchant clients.
• Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn and our database.
• Speaking with candidates to understand their experience and career goals.
• Using your merchant industry knowledge to identify the right people for our clients.
• Building relationships with candidates and clients.
• Managing candidates through the recruitment process, from initial conversation through to placement.
• Working towards personal and team targets.
• Learning the recruitment process and developing your career with us.

What we're looking for:

• Experience within a Plumbers' Merchant, Builders' Merchant or similar
• Confident communication and a natural ability to build relationships
• Commercially minded and target-driven
• Organised, proactive and keen to learn
• A genuine interest in developing a career in recruitment
