Job Title - Agile Scrum Master

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Release Manager to support enterprise technology teams within a leading financial institution. This hybrid role combines Agile leadership and Release Management responsibilities, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.

The successful candidate will lead multiple Agile teams while overseeing release execution, governance, testing validations, and change management activities.

Key Responsibilities

Agile & Scrum Leadership

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams and drive successful delivery of business value.


• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Preparation.


• Coach teams on Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.


• Remove impediments and proactively manage dependencies and delivery risks.


• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and leadership stakeholders.

Release & Change Management

• Coordinate end-to-end release management activities.


• Manage release scope and deployment schedules.


• Validate testing completion, UAT sign-offs, and production readiness.


• Support Enterprise Change Management processes and controls.


• Coordinate production deployments and post-release validation activities.


• Maintain audit-ready documentation and governance artifacts.

Stakeholder Management

• Drive communication across technology, business, and project teams.


• Provide status reporting and leadership updates.


• Influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment across multiple teams.


• Establish governance routines and delivery tracking mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, Project Management, or Release Management roles

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Scrum & Agile methodologies


• Jira


• Release Management


• Enterprise Change Management


• SDLC processes

Experience:

• Leading distributed or global Agile teams


• Coordinating production releases and deployments


• Working in highly regulated environments


• Managing stakeholder communications and executive reporting

Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services experience


• SAFe, CSM, or PSM Certification


• Project Management experience


• Experience with PI Planning / Program Increment preparation


• Exposure to Change Management tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar platforms
