Strategic Sourcing Contractor

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in need of a Strategic Sourcing Contractor in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and vendor management activities across technology-related categories
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes
• Support RFP/RFQ events, vendor evaluations, and contract execution
• Monitor renewals and identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities
• Analyze spend and supplier data to support sourcing decisions
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend solutions
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and ongoing vendor performance reviews
• Track sourcing initiatives and communicate status updates to stakeholders
• Support category strategy development and risk management efforts

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or category management
• Experience managing sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract administration
• Knowledge of technology products, services, and supplier markets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Comfortable working in evolving, fast-paced environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
