Licensed Veterinary Technician Overnight

Job Description***This role has a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Bonus paid at 30 days and has a mandatory 12-month retention period***\n\nJoin our growing team at VCA VREC of Westbury and help provide exceptional care to pets in our community!\n\nWe’re seeking an Full time experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician for our Emergency and Critical Care department on our OVERNIGHT shifts at our 24-hour Emergency/Specialty hospital.\n\nAt VCA VREC, we encourage growth and development, offering training opportunities and a collaborative environment.

If you’re a motivated, positive individual who values teamwork and respect, we’d love to hear from you!\n\nPotential Schedule: Full-time, overnight weekdays, and weekends.\n\nCompensation: $31 - $37 / hour based on skill set, and licensure status (LVT)\n**Plus**\n$2 overnight differential 8p-8a every night\n$4 weekend differential available Friday 8p- Mon 8a**\n\nLicensed Veterinary Technician Duties: \n\n Procedural anesthesia monitoring\n Ability to calculate drug doses\n Full Technician Skill Utilization\n Venipuncture / IVC placement\n Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)\n Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services\n Providing compassionate care for all patients\n Imaging and advanced procedures\n Paid on-call availability\n Minimum 1 year experience\n\n
