Job Title: Digital Payments Operations Specialist
Location: Pensacola FL, Vienna VA or Winchester VA
Type: Contract
Compensation: Pay Rate: 24/hr W-2
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Hours: 7pm-3:30am, 11am-7:30pm OR 3am-11:30am

There are three different shifts you can work for this position and  this consultant can work out of Pensacola FL, Winchester VA or Vienna VA. 

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related operational processes
• Understands and applies regulatory requirements, including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, and internal policies to mitigate operational and compliance risk
• Analyzes complex payment scenarios, identifies root causes, resolves exceptions efficiently, and makes sound decisions while balancing member service, risk, and operational requirements
• Maintains a high level of accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and financial losses
• Effectively partners with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues, provide updates, and support operational objectives

Requirements

• Knowledge of payment operations processes and regulation compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail to maintain accuracy in payment reviews
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
