Job Description

Net-Temps are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Administrator to support our client's busy Flooring Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative and sales support, assisting with customer enquiries, order processing, quotations, and general office duties while helping to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Location: Ipswich (IP6)
Salary: £25,000- £30,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Job Type: Permanent Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Flooring Team, ensuring all sales and office duties are completed efficiently.
  • Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with customers to provide information, resolve queries, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotations and estimates.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update customer records and company databases.
  • Prepare, print, copy, and distribute documentation as required.
  • Carry out accurate data entry and ensure information is correctly recorded on company systems.
  • Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Support colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Complete general office and administrative duties as required.
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administration, sales support, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
