Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Infrastructure

Knowledge and Skills:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, systems engineering or platform operations.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Microsoft Azure environments at enterprise scale.
  • Experience operating hybrid environments supporting business critical applications.
  • Proven success in regulated or audited environments (financial services, healthcare, etc.).
  • Experience managing infrastructure budgets and vendor relationships.
OTHER SKILLS
  • Deep understanding of: Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, hybrid cloud architectures and on-prem platforms.
  • Familiarity with: networking (VNets, firewalls, routing, VPNs); identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM); Infrastructure as Code (Terraform); monitoring, logging and operational tooling.
  • Knowledge of: application hosting platforms; backup, disaster recovery and high availability designs; governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, security and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work on concurrent, complex projects.
