Equity Trade Operations Analyst | Leading Buyside Investment Manager | London

We are working with a leading global buyside investment manager to recruit an experienced Equity Trade Operations Analyst to join its growing operations function.

This is a hands-on role within a global team, focused on trade exception management, settlement and operational problem-solving across global equity markets .

The role:

1. Manage and resolve complex trade and operational exceptions across global equity markets.
2. Oversee trade confirmation, processing, settlement and claims.
3. Act as a subject matter expert within your area of responsibility.
4. Work closely with Trading, Operations, Legal & Compliance, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
5. Analyse problems, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
6. Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies .
7. Take ownership of projects and process changes where required.
8. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and explain the underlying issues and solutions.

What we're looking for:

1. Strong experience within equity trade operations / investment operations .
2. Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement and exception management.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Comfortable working across global teams and with senior stakeholders.
5. A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution.
6. Someone who enjoys improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
