Middleware Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to manage, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise middleware platforms across development, testing, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat, application servers, messaging platforms, and middleware integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain middleware and application server environments.
• Manage IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, and Apache Tomcat environments.
• Perform application deployments, configuration changes, patching, upgrades, and environment refreshes.
• Monitor middleware applications, JVMs, servers, clusters, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot application server, JVM, connectivity, deployment, and integration issues.
• Configure and manage JDBC data sources, connection pools, JMS queues/topics, security, certificates, and SSL/TLS.
• Support high-availability environments including clustering, load balancing, and failover.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve application and middleware issues.
• Automate routine administration and deployment activities using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Analyze application and middleware logs and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support production incidents, problem management, and change management processes.
• Perform middleware upgrades, migrations, patching, and platform modernization.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments.
• Participate in on-call and production support activities when required.
