Job Summary
Were looking for an experienced and proactive Electrical Shift Engineer to join a busy engineering team working within a high-end commercial environment in Crawley.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and previous experience working within a commercial environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the building's electrical systems and services are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults, breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements.
• Carry out routine inspections and ensure plant and equipment are operating effectively.
• Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues.
• Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day building services requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Participate in the 1 in 4 call-out rota.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering background.
• Previous experience within a commercial or high-end environment.
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an established engineering team.
• Right to work in the UK.
