DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering long term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers.
- Generate leads through outbound activity, networking and attending industry events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Work with senior Business Development and Account Management professionals to upskill and develop.
- Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, sales activities and progress in Salesforce.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving business growth.
- Act as a customer advocate; resolve issues with urgency and accountability.
- Continually improve our clients' experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar role.
- Analytical skills and problem solving to assess client needs and find ways to meet them.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with lead generation and account management.
- Ability to influence decisions.
- Ability to articulate to senior stakeholders.
- Strong document writing skills.
- Proven track record working to deadlines and time management.
- Driven to succeed - going the extra mile.
