Business Development Executive - Legal Services
Quick Overview
Job Description
About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to help us find and open conversations with the right companies at the right moment. Your job is to spot those triggers, reach the right person, and get them into a conversation with us.
This is an entry-level role. You don't need legal sales experience. You do need to be curious, organized, and comfortable writing a cold LinkedIn message that a founder actually reads.
What You'll Do
- Prospect Research
- Outbound Outreach
- Discovery and Qualification
- Pipeline and Reporting
What You'll Be Representing
Two things. That's it.
Contracts: MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and commercial contracts. Drafted or reviewed by attorneys in 24 to 48 hours, flat-rate, with revision cycles included.
Digital legal infrastructure: Privacy policies, terms of service, cookie compliance, marketing claims review, lead capture audits, and ongoing updates as the client's business evolves.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Up to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a related role.
- Strong written communication. You should be able to write a short, specific LinkedIn message that earns a reply.
- Comfortable researching companies and finding the right people on LinkedIn.
- Organized and self-directed. You'll manage your own outreach cadence and prospect list.
Preferred
- Background in law, business administration, or marketing.
- Any internship or work experience in legal services, legal process outsourcing, business development, or B2B sales.
- Basic familiarity with contracts or professional services, even from coursework.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools.
What Good Looks Like
- You're consistently getting replies to cold outreach, and those replies are turning into conversations.
- The prospects you qualify are genuinely a fit: they have contracts to manage, a website to get legally sound, or a deal that needs to close.
- You know what Accordink does and doesn't do, and you communicate both clearly. Saying no to work outside our scope is part of the job.
- You're tracking your own pipeline and flagging what's working and what's not.
Compensation and What You Get
- Fixed salary: 25,000- 30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Performance-based incentives tied to qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.
- Direct access to leadership from day one. You're not inside a large sales org.
- Mentorship in legal services and B2B business development.
- Exposure to how SaaS companies, digital agencies, and startups think about legal operations, with founders and senior operators as your primary contacts.
- Clear path into a business development or account management role as the team grows.
