Job Description

Job Title: SME / Project Manager – Quavo (QFD) Implementation

Location: Preferably Atlanta or remote USA

Experience: 10-12 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SME/Project Manager with approximately 10 years of experience to lead the implementation of the Quavo (QFD) dispute and fraud management platform across downstream banking systems. This role requires deep functional knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z dispute processes, combined with strong project management skills to drive end-to-end implementation within a complex banking technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementation of the Quavo (QFD) platform, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Quavo's dispute and fraud management workflows, advising internal stakeholders and technical teams on best-practice configuration
  • Coordinate integration between Quavo and downstream/upstream systems — core banking platforms, card management systems, payment processors, call center/CRM tools, and self-service channels
  • Own the functional design of dispute workflows in alignment with Regulation E (EFT/unauthorized transaction disputes) and Regulation Z (credit billing error disputes) requirements
  • Define and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and configuration decisions for the Quavo platform in partnership with compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams
  • Drive project planning, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and status reporting across the implementation lifecycle
  • Facilitate UAT planning and execution, ensuring configured workflows meet both regulatory requirements and business needs
  • Manage stakeholder communication across business, compliance/legal, IT, and vendor (Quavo) teams throughout the project
  • Identify implementation risks/gaps related to downstream system integration and regulatory compliance, and drive mitigation plans
  • Support change management and training activities for internal teams adopting the new platform
  • Ensure post-go-live stabilization, defect resolution, and smooth transition to BAU operations

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10 years of overall experience in banking/financial services technology, with proven experience implementing or managing dispute/fraud management platforms — direct experience with Quavo (QFD) strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z dispute processes, timelines, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience integrating vendor platforms with downstream/upstream banking systems (core banking, card management, payment processors, CRM/call center tools)
  • Solid project management experience — planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk/issue tracking, and delivery within banking technology implementations
  • Understanding of the broader banking technology landscape and how dispute/fraud management solutions fit within it
  • Experience translating regulatory and business requirements into functional/technical specifications for vendor platform configuration
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to work across compliance, risk, operations, technology, and vendor teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct hands-on experience specifically with Quavo's QFD® platform
  • PMP, Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent project management credential
  • Own the functional design of dispute workflows in alignment with Regulation E (EFT/unauthorized transaction disputes) and Regulation Z (credit billing error disputes) requirements, ensuring end-to-end Reg E and Reg Z compliance across configured workflows
  • Background in credit union or community bank environments (common Quavo client base)
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and cloud-based SaaS platform implementations
  • Experience with self-service dispute intake channels, IVR, or omni-channel dispute workflows

Experience Level

  • 10 years overall in banking/payments technology, with hands-on Quavo implementation and Reg E/Reg Z domain experience strongly preferred
