Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CCM Technical Project Manager / Solution Assessment Lead with 10+ years of experience in Customer Communication Management (CCM) technologies, preferably within the Insurance domain.

This is a purely technical and client-facing role rather than a traditional project management position. The candidate will work closely with the customer to assess their existing Oracle Documaker-based CCM landscape, understand current business and technical use cases, identify gaps and modernization opportunities, and help define and evaluate the appropriate target CCM platform and architecture.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on CCM architecture knowledge, excellent customer-facing skills, and experience assessing legacy document composition platforms and defining modernization/migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with customer business and technology stakeholders to understand the existing CCM ecosystem and business processes.

  • Perform a detailed current-state assessment of the Oracle Documaker architecture, including document generation, templates, data integration, batch and real-time processing, output channels, archival, print, email, and other downstream integrations.
  • Understand and document existing communication use cases across the Insurance business.
  • Assess the current Documaker implementation for architecture, scalability, maintainability, integration, performance, and operational challenges.
  • Identify functional and technical gaps in the existing CCM platform.
  • Conduct workshops with business, architecture, application, infrastructure, security, and integration teams.
  • Define the current-state and target-state CCM architecture.
  • Evaluate potential target CCM platforms based on customer use cases, technical requirements, integration requirements, scalability, cloud readiness, and future business needs.
  • Develop a structured CCM platform evaluation and selection framework, including functional and technical evaluation criteria.
  • Provide technical recommendations and help the customer select an appropriate target CCM solution.
  • Assess migration complexity for existing templates, business rules, data interfaces, workflows, and integrations.
  • Define a high-level CCM modernization and migration roadmap from Oracle Documaker to the selected target platform.
  • Identify migration dependencies, risks, assumptions, constraints, and technical prerequisites.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, assessment reports, solution options, recommendations, and technical presentations for customer stakeholders.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and present recommendations to customer architecture and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate with product vendors, architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders during platform assessment and solution definition.

Required Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of overall experience with significant experience in Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Documaker, including architecture, document/template development, data processing, batch processing, integrations, and output management.
  • Experience assessing and modernizing legacy CCM/document composition platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise CCM architecture and document generation lifecycle.
  • Experience with batch, on-demand, interactive, and real-time communication use cases.
  • Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, APIs, Web Services, databases, file-based integrations, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Understanding of print, PDF, email, SMS, digital delivery, archival, and document management integrations.
  • Experience defining current-state and future-state solution architectures.
  • Ability to perform platform capability assessment, gap analysis, and technical product evaluation.
  • Understanding of cloud/SaaS-based CCM architecture and migration considerations.
  • Strong experience producing HLDs, architecture diagrams, assessment documents, migration roadmaps, and technical recommendations.

CCM Platform Experience

Experience with Oracle Documaker is highly preferred. Exposure to one or more modern CCM platforms would be an advantage, such as:

  • Quadient Inspire
  • OpenText Exstream
  • SmartCOMM
  • Oracle Documaker
