The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading, unloading, and relocating shipping containers.
• Safely move containers between railcars, trucks, and within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a secure and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
• Experience in logistics or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
