Technical Sales Engineer

We are recruiting a
Technical Sales Engineer to develop business across the South Central U.S. and support select customers globally. This is a remote, field-based opportunity for someone who can combine technical problem-solving with consultative sales and relationship development.
Candidates should live near a major airport in a South Central state.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new accounts and expand relationships with existing industrial customers. Work with plant engineers, project teams, operations leaders, and procurement professionals to identify equipment and material requirements. Manage opportunities from initial technical discussion through proposal, negotiation, and close. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on customer-specific solutions. Build territory strategies and identify opportunities within chemical processing and other demanding industrial markets.

Travel throughout North America with occasional international travel. Qualifications
Successful experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, account management, or territory sales. Knowledge of chemical processing, nitric acid production, or other corrosive-process environments is highly valued. Familiarity with high-performance alloys, alloy metals, corrosion-resistant materials, or custom metal fabrication. Exposure to heat exchangers, pressure vessels, catalyst baskets, or other capital equipment used in high-temperature applications.

Demonstrated consultative and solution-selling ability with technical customers. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Technical education is helpful but not required; relevant industry experience can substitute.
