Duration: 9+ Month Contract

Rate: $60-$65/hr on W2 (w2 Only) 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Python Developer to join a data engineering team focused on building and automating data masking solutions for enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs that support data obfuscation and compliance initiatives.

This role involves creating automated workflows, developing backend services, and enhancing data masking processes in a cloud-native environment.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python development experience
• Strong experience with relational databases and database-driven applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS
• CI/CD pipeline experience, preferably using GitLab
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based microservices
• Build and support RESTful APIs for data automation platforms
• Collaborate with architects to define technical roadmaps and feature enhancements
• Develop solutions that automate data masking and data protection processes
• Work with cloud-native technologies and containerized applications
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Implement client feature requests while maintaining high-quality coding standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data masking technologies
• Knowledge of Java development
• Front-end or UI development experience
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles
• Experience working with large-scale data management platforms
