Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, 100% hands-on Technical Team Lead to join a leading global enterprise. This role combines direct software development with technical leadership, requiring the ability to design, build, and deploy functional, cloud-based web applications while mentoring a team of entry-level engineers. This is not a traditional Project Manager or Scrum Master position; the ideal candidate must be a strong individual contributor who writes high-quality code, effectively leverages AI coding tools, and leads by example through hands-on development. Strong Python proficiency is essential for the initial technical screening, while experience with Java or Node.js is also welcome if the candidate can pass a fundamental Python assessment. Experience with React, PostgreSQL, and Terraform is highly preferred. Technical capabilities and behavioral competencies are equally important, with an emphasis on curiosity, attention to detail, motivation to deliver high-quality outcomes, and the ability to coach and support team members.
Responsibilities:
Architect, build, and deploy robust web applications from scratch in a cloud-based environment.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to entry-level engineers, leading by example through direct, hands-on coding.
Use AI coding assistants to optimize development workflows and build solutions that incorporate AI functionalities.
Write clean, scalable code and clearly communicate technical decisions, architecture choices, and problem-solving methodologies to technical stakeholders.
