Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Create test scripts based on user stories and business requirements.
2. Execute manual and functional test cases to validate application quality.
3. Document evidence of test case execution and completion.
4. Report defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	Experience in software quality assurance, test script development, test execution, and defect validation in an Agile environment.
Technical Skills	Manual Testing, Test Script Development, Functional Testing, User Story Validation, Defect Tracking, Test Documentation, Agile SDLC, QA Testing
Business / Domain Skills	Quality Assurance, Test Planning, Requirements Analysis, Defect Management, Software Validation, Agile Collaboration
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with Agile/Scrum software development.
2. Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
3. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
