Position Title: Accessibility QA Analyst
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, 55155.
Duration: projected duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST
Project Deliverables:
This role will be responsible for independently performing accessibility and quality assurance activities across multiple applications while ensuring software meets accessibility standards and overall quality expectations. Deliverables include:
• Performing accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards across multiple web and desktop applications
• Conduct testing using NVDA/JAWS, keyboard navigation, and other accessibility testing tools and techniques
• Document clear, actionable defects
• Validates defect fixes
• Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing as needed
• Support multiple applications simultaneously
• Collaborate with project teams to meet delivery timelines.
The selected candidate will engage in regular communication, at least weekly, concerning work performance and provide documentation regarding the work performed. Successful performance will be determined by regular communication of work progress to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- The vendor will provide project activity plan(s) and schedule(s) agreeable to the ITD Manager.
- The vendor will assign a primary contact that will be responsible for all formal communications between the vendor and the ITD manager in regards to the contract.
- The vendor must initiate and provide a criminal background check for submitted contractors.
- The vendor and contractor will act in a professional manner and abide by all rules set forth by the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
- The contractor will report to the ITD manager and will be expected to communicate on a regular basis (as determined by the ITD manager) with all project stakeholders.
- The selected contractor will follow State disciplines standards, including use of State templates, methods and forms.

- Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software quality assurance experience
- 5+ years of hands-on digital accessibility testing experience
- Demonstrated experience testing against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards
- Experience using both NVDA and JAWS, keyboard only navigation, and browser accessibility tools
- Experience documenting accessibility defects with sufficient technical for developer remediation
- Experience performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Ability to manage work across multiple applications and competing priorities simultaneously
- Understanding of how accessibility issues show up in code (HTML, ARIA, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking
- Familiarity with accessibility tools such as Axe DevTools, WAVE, ANDI, Lighthouse
- Experience working in government or other highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of Section 508 requirements, ADA implementing regulation, 28 CFR 35, requirements, and accessible design best practices
- Experience partnering directly with developers to resolve accessibility issues
