Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our remote development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to define software requirements.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $130,000 annually (depending on experience, location, and skills).
