The Role

• Operate heavy machinery, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to manage shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Safely position and relocate containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistical operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to function effectively as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
