  • Prepare and support audited statutory financial statements and related audits
  • Manage and review components of the NAIC Annual Statement process
  • Partner with accounting leadership to address reporting backlogs and strengthen internal processes
  • Supervise and develop a team of accountants, including senior and staff-level professionals

  • Support both GAAP and STAT accounting functions across the finance organization
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with insurance industry reporting standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6-8+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Strong statutory accounting (STAT) expertise and regulatory reporting experience
  • Hands-on experience with the NAIC Annual Statement
  • Knowledge of both GAAP and statutory accounting principles
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing accounting staff
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Public accounting experience, particularly auditing insurance companies, is highly desirable

If you have insurance accounting and statutory reporting experience, apply now! This is an outstanding opportunity to make an immediate impact, lead through transformation, and help shape the future of a growing finance organization.
