Accounting Center Workday Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Grand Rapids, MI that is seeking an Accounting Center Workday Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production and go-live support for a major Workday Accounting Center implementation scheduled for February 1st
• Support and optimize 3-4 large Accounting Center integrations as they move into production
• Review and assess current Accounting Center architecture and integration design
• Lead discovery efforts for upcoming Accounting Center integrations and enhancements
• Partner with source-system teams to understand data structures, mapping requirements, and integration dependencies
• Drive integration design discussions and recommend scalable Accounting Center solutions
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, finance leadership, and internal customers
• Facilitate status meetings, communicate risks and dependencies, and ensure project milestones are achieved
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, data quality, and automation within Workday
• Collaborate closely with project leadership, including Matt, Mike, and Thomas, to drive delivery success

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of Workday experience with significant exposure to Workday Accounting Center (WAC)
• Strong techno-functional background, with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements
• Experience supporting Accounting Center implementations, integrations, and post-go-live activities
• Knowledge of accounting data flows, financial systems, and source system integrations
• Experience conducting discovery sessions and requirements gathering with business stakeholders
• Ability to evaluate existing architecture and recommend improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven ability to independently drive workstreams and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Financials and Workday integration technologies
• Prior Accounting Center go-live support experience
• Background working with enterprise-scale financial system transformations
• Consulting experience leading client-facing discussions and solution design workshops

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
