Senior Cloud Software Engineer [$308k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Provide cloud-based geolocation solutions in near-real-time to support critical operational missions. • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and Helm charts to enforce robust development standards. • Support application development utilizing Java and React while integrating messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and Kafka. • Monitor infrastructure health and performance across Linux environments using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 20+ years • Total Compensation: $308k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure following industry best practices and governance requirements. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK. • Build reusable modules and Helm charts to manage containerized platform workloads in Docker and Kubernetes. • Develop software components and user interfaces utilizing Java and React. • Configure, maintain, and optimize distributed messaging systems using ActiveMQ and Kafka for high-availability systems. • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch. • Formulate and execute strategies for backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and key/secrets management. • Optimize cloud resource performance and costs through rightsizing, autoscaling, tagging, and budget management. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, security, and service limits across enterprise Linux environments.
