Director of AI Enablement & Adoption - HR

London/Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office.
£700-£800 per day | Inside IR35
Contract/initially 6 months +

We're looking for an experienced AI Enablement & Adoption Director to lead the rollout and adoption of Generative AI tools across a large, global HR function.

This is not an AI engineering or systems-build role. The focus is on taking established AI platforms and turning them into practical, widely adopted tools that improve how HR teams work.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the enterprise rollout of Microsoft Copilot and AI assistant tooling across HR
• Configuring and extending Microsoft Copilot and AI assistant tooling, including reusable prompts and skills Identifying high-value HR use cases and translating them into practical AI solutions
• Designing and delivering the AI adoption and change programme
• Running training, workshops, office hours and an internal AI champion network
• Establishing testing, QA and governance standards for AI tools
• Working closely with HR, IT, Legal, Security and AI engineering teams
• Tracking adoption, productivity improvements, hours saved and ROI

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Copilot/M365 Copilot experience
• Experience building Copilot agents, prompts, skills or similar AI productivity solutions
• Proven experience rolling out AI or productivity tools across a large enterprise environment
• Strong change management and user adoption experience
• Experience working with HR teams, HR technology or HR transformation
• Understanding of AI governance and handling sensitive employee data
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills

This would suit an AI Enablement Director, GenAI Adoption Lead, Microsoft Copilot Lead, AI Transformation Lead or AI Change & Adoption Lead who combines hands-on AI tooling experience with enterprise-scale adoption.
