Job Title: Workday Configuration SME – Learning & Recruiting

Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Workday Configuration Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong hands-on expertise in Workday Learning and Recruiting modules. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Workday functionalities across both areas.

The resource must be capable of working independently, resolving complex configuration issues, supporting production environments, and providing functional guidance on Workday design and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hands-on configuration activities across Workday Learning and Recruiting modules.
• Configure and support end-to-end Workday Recruiting processes, including recruitment workflows and onboarding.
• Manage Workday Learning configurations and related business processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex configuration issues and resolve production support incidents.
• Understand end-to-end business processes and assess the downstream impact of configuration changes.
• Provide recommendations on Workday functionality, process improvements, and configuration best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective Workday solutions.
• Support ongoing enhancements, configuration changes, and optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on Workday Learning configuration experience.
• Strong hands-on Workday Recruiting configuration experience.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting and Onboarding processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Workday business processes.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday configuration issues.
• Experience supporting complex Workday environments and production operations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Workday design, configuration, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Learning certification.
• Workday Recruiting certification.
• Previous experience working as a Workday Functional Consultant or Configuration SME.
