Technical Support Engineer - API & Integrations

CTG is seeking to fill a hands-on Technical Support Engineer with a developer mindset and L2/L3 support experience to troubleshoot customer-facing API and integration issues. This role combines technical support, debugging, coding, and customer communication.

Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for APIs, integrations, authentication, API contracts, and error-code issues.
• Support customer onboarding and troubleshoot technical issues through resolution.
• Reproduce and diagnose problems using code, logs, databases, and other tools.
• Develop fixes, code changes, pull requests, and database scripts and support them through release.
• Support both legacy Current Gen and NextGen platforms.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with customers and internal engineering teams.
• Own issues through resolution and escalate complex problems appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent L2/L3 technical support or engineering experience.
• API and systems integration experience.
• Development experience with the ability to make and troubleshoot code changes.
• Strong debugging skills using application code, logs, and databases.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and ability to drive issues to resolution.
• AI/MCP troubleshooting or triage experience is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35.00 to $42.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
