Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Consultant to support the continued growth and development of our Semi-Liquid Fund Accounting business in Luxembourg. This is a specialist oversight role, providing subject matter expertise across semi-liquid, private markets, and hybrid fund structures. The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to management and operational teams, supporting complex client onboarding, operating model optimization, process enhancement, regulatory compliance, and the scalability of our Fund Accounting operating model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise across semi-liquid, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and hybrid fund structures.
  • Oversee and review NAV production activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Support complex valuation methodologies, unitization processes, pricing controls, and performance fee calculations.
  • Review and enhance operating models to improve scalability, efficiency, risk management, and control effectiveness.
  • Assess existing Fund Accounting processes and identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex operational issues, reconciliations, exceptions, and client queries.
  • Partner with Technology, Change, and Operations teams to implement strategic enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and client due diligence activities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, auditors, custodians, trustees, and depositaries.
  • Deliver training, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer across operational teams.
  • Participate in strategic projects, new client onboardings, and business growth initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years' experience within Fund Accounting, Alternative Investments, Asset Servicing, or a related environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of semi-liquid fund structures, private markets products, and hybrid investment vehicles.
  • Experience working with Luxembourg fund structures and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of NAV production, valuation methodologies, pricing controls, and fund accounting oversight.
  • Knowledge of private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and other alternative investment products.
  • Proven ability to review complex operating models and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
