The Role

• Engage in practical phases with a local company, applying academic knowledge to real-world social work scenarios.
• Deepen expertise in one of four specializations: Childhood Pedagogy, Social Work with Adults, Child and Youth Welfare, or School-Based Social Work.
• Receive hands-on experience in areas such as socio-psychiatric support, educational assistance, and pedagogical school support.
• Support colleagues in providing practical, goal-oriented, and pedagogical guidance within individual living environments, family life, and upbringing.
• Benefit from a structured curriculum designed for practical, real-world application.

What You'll Need

• Possess a (technical) college entrance qualification, a qualified vocational qualification, or equivalent (e.g., state-certified technician/business administrator).
• Demonstrate German language proficiency at B2 level.
• Exhibit diligence, responsibility, and discretion in your approach.
• Possess empathy, compassion, a genuine enjoyment of working with people, and resilience.
• Prior experience in a voluntary social year, federal volunteer service, or other volunteer work is advantageous.
