Portfolio Finance Analyst

PORTFOLIO FINANCE ANALYST | London

We’re seeking aPortfolio Finance Analyst to join our clients Portfolio Management Office, supporting financial tracking and insights across a change portfolio.

The Role:

Own monthly portfolio forecasting, reporting and variance analysis. Partner with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, budgeting, and decision-making. Build dashboards and reports that drive portfolio prioritisation and performance management.

What You’ll Do:

1. Deliver monthly portfolio forecasts and variance analysis with clear insights
2. Support budgeting, financial planning and accruals processing
3. Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and automated reports
4. Maintain data integrity and act as a steward for portfolio financial data
5. Support project financial setup, funding, tracking and governance
6. Drive automation of manual processes using Power Query, Excel, VBA

Who You Are:

1. 4-7+ years in financial analysis, project accounting or portfolio management
2. Part-qualified/qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable
3. Advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query
4. Experience with PPM tools (Clarity, Planview, Project Online)
5. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
6. Comfortable working across Finance, PMO and delivery teams
7. Must have extensive financial services experience and tracked budgets of £50M
