Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: US Remote
Duration: Till 12/31/26
This role supports client reporting team, which delivers ad hoc and recurring aggregate reporting. analyses, and data requests from internal stakeholders and clients. The team works with sensitive healthcare application data — including telemedicine consult records and data from chronic-condition management programs (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, and behavioral health coaching apps) — and is organized into two functional areas: Data Extracts (client-specific file deliveries and one-off data pulls) and Aggregate Reports (portfolio-level and custom reporting/analytics). This role covers hands-on technical work across both functional areas — data extracts and aggregate reporting — since day-to-day assignment will depend on each contractor's demonstrated strengths once onboarded. Candidates should be comfortable with the full range of skills below; specific assignments will be tailored individually.

Responsibilities:
- Pick up assigned Jira tickets spanning client data-extract delivery/troubleshooting and portfolio-level or custom aggregate reporting.
- Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries against Redshift and MySQL to investigate data issues, build reports, and fulfill one-off and recurring data requests.
- Build and maintain automated file deliveries using Jenkins, including writing and editing YAML configuration files.
- Develop reporting logic, data validation, and analysis using Python and/or R.
- Investigate data discrepancies reported by internal stakeholders or clients and communicate findings clearly.
- Work within our healthcare application data environment — including telemedicine consult data and chronic-condition management program data — with the care and attention to accuracy that entails.
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL skills, with hands-on experience in Redshift and MySQL.
- Ability to read and write YAML configuration files.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/automation tooling for building and maintaining automated data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and reporting.
- Comfort working with large-scale, sensitive data in a production environment.
Preferred (nice to have, not required)
- Prior experience with healthcare or health-tech application data specifically.
- Familiarity with Control-M or similar job-scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with Snowflake (limited use expected in this environment, but a plus).
