Performance & Load Test Automation Engineer :: NYC (Hybrid_Local Preferred)

Key Skills Required (must have)

Strong automation testing experience.

Manual testing experience

LoadRunner, JMeter

Performance engineering, workload modelling, monitoring tools, environment setup, capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, reporting

Strong SQL and backend testing skills.

Experience with API, integration, database, and file testing

Experience working in Agile environments

ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level minimum) preferred; Advanced ISTQB certifications are a plus.

Healthcare Knowledge (details below)

Preferred and great to have; not mandatory

Candidates with healthcare payer experience (particularly exposure to Facets, HRP, member, provider, enrolment, and integration testing) will be given preference

Additional details

Given our direction toward Quality Engineering, should have the ability to establish and maintain the performance testing environment, develop and execute performance test scripts, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve application scalability and stability.

Ability to support test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation activities.

Automation skills are mandatory; manual testing is one of many responsibilities.

Certifications are nice to have for their demonstrated skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Willing to work from the office 2-3 days a week
