Job Description
We are seeking a Business Process Engineer with comprehensive, hands-on Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience to improve warehouse operations and support site readiness. This role will evaluate existing workflows, design improved processes, analyze operational data, and partner with operations and technical teams to implement and test solutions.
The ideal candidate is a Blue Yonder WMS super user who understands the full scope of warehouse functionality beyond labor management. Strong communication, analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to manage work independently are essential. Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) or cold storage is a plus.
Candidates must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia, and able to work onsite at 10 Glenlake Parkway NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 when not traveling. Approximately 50% domestic travel is required, typically for one week at a time and sometimes including weekends.

responsibilities:
- Evaluate warehouse workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and develop process improvements that support productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Serve as the process readiness lead for new and existing warehouse operations, supporting site launches and standardized operating practices.
- Apply comprehensive Blue Yonder WMS knowledge to assess workflows, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes across warehouse functions.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with operations, technical teams, and business stakeholders; document business and functional requirements.
- Map current-state and future-state processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
- Partner with WMS configuration, training, and support teams to implement effective solutions for office and warehouse floor operations.
- Support testing and validation of warehouse systems, automation, and operational processes before implementation and go-live.
- Analyze operational data using SQL, Excel, and other reporting tools to identify trends, measure performance, and evaluate improvements.
- Present findings, recommendations, and process changes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel approximately 50% to warehouse sites across the United States, typically for one week at a time, with some assignments including weekends.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive, hands-on Blue Yonder WMS expertise at a super-user level, with knowledge across warehouse functions beyond labor management.
- Understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain execution.
- Proficiency in data mining, SQL/database queries, and information extraction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Experience using process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio.
- Demonstrated ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions and process improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to research issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage competing priorities, and follow through with strong attention to detail.
- Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia, and available to work onsite when not traveling.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% within the United States, including weeklong assignments and occasional weekends.
Preferred:
- Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) or cold storage operations.
- Experience using BPMN 2.0 process modeling notation.
- Experience developing business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional requirements documents (FRDs).
- Experience with warehouse automation, systems testing, or site go-live support.
- Experience creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
