Client: Insurance Firm

Job Title: Vendor Manager

Contract Dates: 06 Months (Extension/Conversion based on performance)

Pay Rate: ($40 - $45) on an hourly basis
Location: Hybrid Role - Can be remote too for a good candidate but from the same below mentioned location.

Overview:



  • We are seeking an experienced Specialist, Vendor Liaisonto manage strategic technology vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, oversee vendor performance, and drive cost optimization.

  • This role partners closely with IT leadership, Procurement, and Legal to ensure vendor agreements meet business needs, contractual obligations, and performance expectations.


Required:



  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and commercial relationship management.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage strategic IT vendor relationships, contracts, and compliance.

  • Lead vendor pricing, commercial, and contract negotiations with IT leadership and Procurement.

  • Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and vendor scorecards.

  • Lead vendor selection, sourcing initiatives, and RFP processes.

  • Partner with Legal to negotiate, finalize, and manage vendor agreements.

  • Oversee vendor onboarding, invoicing, credits, penalties, and payment coordination.


Qualifications:



  • Experience managing IT or technology service vendors.
