Help

• Oversees the integration, implementation, sustainment and installation of platforms, systems and networks within the DoDIN-A.
• Meets with Program Managers, engineers, system administrators, new equipment training teams, and deployment teams to establish and set forth interface requirements to integrate upgrades, new systems and equipment.
• Researches new technological developments, recommending solutions for integration, modernization, or replacement of existing system components.
• Develops technical solutions and supports development of project implementation plans and schedules that consider and amplify systems architecture, interoperability and integration.
• Reviews cost and systems analysis performed by other personnel and ensures appropriate consideration of personnel, logistics, training, funding, implementation and sustainment requirements.
• Ensures protective measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, acquisition, manipulation, modification, or loss of information while it is being automatically processed or stored.
• As the systems analysis authority, provides advice and direction to user and management on systems management technology and develops and implements procedures needed to effectively implement a central scheme for systems management and control
• Represents NETCOM G-3 as a SME on various NETCOM, HODA, ARCYBER, DISA, Cyber CoE, PEO/PMs, and other signal planning and working groups formed to analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions.
• Provides technical analysis and systems administration advice and information to Director and higher-level managers or representatives and regularly represents the organization in meetings and discussions with representatives of material developers Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634,Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
• In support of contingency operations, incumbent may be required to work overtime and shift work on short notice to include nights, holidays and weekends.
• In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• Incumbent must maintain Level III, Privileged Access to all required IT networks.
• This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.
• Signing of a DA Form 5019 acknowledging periodic random drug testing requirements is mandatory prior to being placed into this position.
• Those individuals not currently occupying a TDP position must successfully complete a pre-appointment drug test prior to being placed into this position and periodically thereafter.
• Incumbent (or selectee) must meet the requirements of the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program. The incumbent (or selectee) must achieve the required qualifications within the timelines established by NETCOM Regulation 34-1.
• Failure to meet these requirements may result in re-assignment to other duties, or release, consistent with applicable law.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level:

1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
