AML Actimize Business Analyst
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Mode of work: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite/per week)

Role: Business Systems Analyst – NICE Actimize (AML/BSA)

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ

Duration: Contract/FTE

 

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with hands-on experience configuring and supporting NICE Actimize workflows to join our Financial Crimes Compliance / AML Technology team. This role bridges business requirements and system configuration for AML monitoring, case management, and regulatory reporting processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Configure, test, and support workflows within the Actimize platform, including case management, alert routing, and disposition processes

·       Partner with AML/BSA compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into system configurations

·       Support Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) processes, including threshold aggregation, exemption handling, and filing workflows

·       Ensure Actimize configurations align with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and evolving regulatory guidance

·       Analyze and document workflows across AML domains (transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, CTR/SAR, customer due diligence)

·       Partner with Fraud teams to support fraud detection workflows within Actimize where applicable

·       Perform gap analysis, functional testing, and UAT for Actimize enhancements and upgrades

·       Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams

·       Collaborate with technology, data, and compliance teams to troubleshoot issues and support production support activities

·       Support model/rule tuning initiatives and assist with regulatory exam or audit requests related to Actimize configurations

Required Qualifications

·       3+ years of hands-on experience configuring or supporting NICE Actimize workflows (case management, workflow designer, or related modules)

·       Strong working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory requirements

·       Practical understanding of Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) processes and requirements

·       Familiarity with core AML domains: transaction monitoring, sanctions/watchlist screening, SAR filing, and customer due diligence (CDD/EDD)

·       Experience writing business requirements, functional specs, and workflow documentation

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with fraud detection workflows within Actimize

·       Exposure to SQL or data analysis tools for investigating alerts and system behavior

·       Prior experience in banking, financial services, or fintech compliance environments

·       CAMS certification or working toward AML/BSA certification
