Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement-Card & Travel Programs Administrator to oversee and manage their P-Card and corporate travel programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for issuing and monitoring employee purchasing cards, managing travel arrangements, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting month-end reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process P-Card and Travel Card applications in Bank of America (BOA) Works
- Add new cardholders to vendor lists and email distributions; provide cardholder training
- Ensure compliance with P-Card and Travel policies; distribute policy documentation
- Provide month-end reporting and assist with audits and program improvements
- Review credit limits, card issuance, and spend detail; recommend policy enhancements
- Ensure TAR reports are created and approved prior to employee travel
- Assist cardholders with expense report creation and approvers with unapproved reports
- Review employee expense reimbursements for completeness and proper approval
- Support special projects as assigned by the Manager of P-Card and Travel Card Program
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in Procurement or Finance
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle high transaction volumes and enforce policy changes diplomatically
- Experience interacting with internal customers and banking representatives
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle AP/PO (a plus, not required)
- Experience with Bank of America Works platform
Location & Work Model
On-site 5 days per week for the first 3 months; hybrid (work from home 2 days/week) thereafter. Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
