Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Solutions Developer with strong expertise in Looker and hands-on experience migrating Tableau dashboards and reports to Looker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modernizing existing BI solutions, developing new dashboards, identifying workarounds for unsupported Tableau features, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate migration and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Tableau reports and dashboards to Looker.

• Design, develop, and maintain new Looker dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Identify and implement workarounds for Tableau features that are not directly supported in Looker.

• Apply best practices to modernize, retrofit, and optimize existing reports and dashboards.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate dashboard migration, development, testing, and documentation.

• Utilize AI capabilities integrated into modern BI and reporting platforms.

• Work with large datasets using BigQuery and SQL to support reporting and analytics requirements.

• Use Python and AI-powered development assistants to improve productivity and automate repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau-to-Looker migration.

• Expertise in Looker dashboard development and reporting.

• Experience identifying alternatives for unsupported Tableau functionalities in Looker.

• Proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery.

• Experience with Python for data processing, automation, or migration support.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, and Claude.

• Knowledge of BI modernization, dashboard optimization, and reporting best practices.

• Ability to leverage AI capabilities to improve BI development and migration efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating complex Tableau dashboards and reports to Looker.

• Understanding of modern BI architecture and data visualization best practices.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, migration analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
