Job Description

Lifestyle Administrative Assistant
Monroe, NJ

Taylor Management is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Lifestyle Administrative Assistant to support the Lifestyle Department at an active adult community in Monroe, NJ. This position combines administrative support, resident interaction, and assistance with community events and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Lifestyle Director
  • Assist with planning and coordinating community events, meetings, and activities
  • Respond to resident inquiries and provide professional customer service
  • Prepare flyers, calendars, event announcements, and other communications
  • Manage registrations, ticket sales, event records, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain department calendars, schedules, files, and community information
  • Coordinate event logistics with staff, vendors, entertainers, clubs, and resident committees
  • Assist with budget tracking, deposits, supply inventory, and general department organization
  • Support resident clubs, committees, and community engagement initiatives
  • Assist with events, with the opportunity to independently lead activities as directed

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Outlook and calendar management
  • Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with residents, vendors, and community groups
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment
  • Experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, recreation, or event coordination preferred
  • Flexibility to assist with occasional evening and weekend events
