Workday Consultant

We're looking for a Workday Consultant for a public sector organisation based in Reading (hybrid) on an initial 12 months contract, paying up to £829 per day (Inside IR35).<br />This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in Reading up to 3 days a week.<br />The successful Workday Consultant will own the HR digital roadmap and lead a portfolio of Workday optimisation, new capability and wider HR technology initiatives.

You'll shape the roadmap, challenge solution design and suppliers, and drive delivery through to business adoption.

This is a functional leadership role, not generic programme management, so you'll need the credibility to sit across the table from an implementation partner and challenge decisions intelligently.<br />You will need proven experience working with the following:<br />Deep Workday HCM expertise, including strong Core HCM and broad exposure across modules such as Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Learning, Compensation, Absence and ReportingCreating and delivering multi-year Workday / HR technology roadmaps, ideally in a post-implementation optimisation environmentFunctional credibility to challenge Workday solution design rather than relying on an a partnerProgramme leadership including prioritisation, dependencies, RAID, governance, resourcing and senior reportingManaging and challenging systems integrators, providers and specialist suppliersTranslating between HR, technology and senior business stakeholders<br />You'll also need practical exposure to end-to-end HR processes and how technology supports HR operating models, shared services and self-service.<br />Experience leading Workday optimisation or Phase X programmes, rather than only initial implementations, would be beneficial.<br />You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.<br />Interested?<br />Please apply below.<br />Workday Programme Lead, Workday Functional Lead, Workday Solution Lead, HRIS Lead, HR Technology Lead, Workday Solution Architect, Core HCM, Workday Optimisation, Workday Roadmap, Reading, Hybrid, Contract, Inside IR35<br />Invitise is an ISO 9001 certified supplier to UK public sector frameworks, recruiting across technical and non-technical roles alongside our cyber security specialism.
