Senior Python Developer

Role: Python Developer with Automation

Location: Dallas, TX Hybrid

Contract

Job Description:

• Design and develop automation solutions using Python for telecom testing and validation.
• Configure, execute, and maintain Spirent Landslide test environments.
• Create automated test scripts for LTE, IMS, EPC, VoLTE, and 5G Core network testing.
• Develop APIs, libraries, and frameworks to automate test execution and reporting.
• Analyze network performance, protocol behavior, and troubleshooting issues.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide recommendations for defect resolution.
• Collaborate with network engineers, developers, and QA teams to validate network features.
• Support performance, scalability, and stress testing activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Python development and automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spirent Landslide.
• Strong knowledge of LTE/4G/5G network architecture.
• Experience with telecom protocols including:
• Diameter
• SIP
• GTP
• HTTP/2
• NGAP
• NAS
• Expertise in Python libraries such as:
• Requests
• PyTest
• Pandas
• Paramiko
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
