Supply Chain Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Bloomfield, CT. This individual will be responsible for supporting the North America Supply Chain organization with sourcing projects related to Company components.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFI preparation and analysis
• Gather drawings and technical requirements for RFQs
• Schedule technical reviews with suppliers and engineering as needed
• Submit first article inspection requests and follow up until completion
• Load supplier pricing in ERP system
• Oversee supplier readiness and material ramp up plans
• Follow up with suppliers for timely implementation
• Work with other functional departments for cadence reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or BA in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
• 3-5 years in a supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
• Proven record of conducting sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to read Engineering drawings and work with drawing databases
• Proficient in MS office products including Excel and PowerPoint. MS Access a plus
• Experience using JD Edwards Supply Chain Modules a plus
• Experience in the elevator industry a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
