We’re Hiring: Distribution Centre Manager

Are you a driven and experienced leader in warehouse operations? Zendbox is seeking a Distribution Centre Manager for our site in Paddock Wood, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent to oversee our distribution operations and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and efficiency. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will manage the daily activities of our distribution centre to ensure operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the distribution centre operations including inbound and outbound processes, inventory control, and team management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse performance, optimize workflow, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, productivity, and accountability within the distribution centre.
  • Collaborate with other departments including logistics, purchasing, and sales to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff, providing ongoing development and performance evaluation.

  • Proven experience as a Distribution Centre Manager or similar role with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Omnichannel fulfilment and eCommerce experience is essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Competitive salary between £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
