SEN / SEND Tutor | Chalfont St. Giles, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are partnering with esteemed schools and local authorities to find dedicated SEND Tutors and Teachers. If you are passionate about transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact in your community.

The Role

• Provide impactful Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1 - KS5 with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring.
• Offer flexible in-person, remote, and hybrid tutoring sessions.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Play a key role in raising the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
• Proven ability in holistic and trauma-informed educational approaches.
